Cigna Corp. announced a new collaborative care agreement with Health Choice Preferred. In a press release, Cigna said the agreement covers 16,000 patients across Utah.

Cigna said it now has 142 collaborative care agreements in 29 states, serving 1.6 million commercial customers encompassing about 65,000 physicians.
Health Choice Preferred is a division of Franklin, Tenn-based IASIS Healthcare. Health Choice is IASIS’ managed risk platform, covering 634,000 members in Arizona, Utah and Florida.
